Dance Modern

Modern jazz comes from African-American jazz dance, which is often associated with swing and lindy hop.

At the end of the 1940s, jazz dance became part of Broadway musicals and evolved in the 1950s under the impetus of great choreographers.

Modern jazz is therefore a technical, rhythmic and dynamic dance that tries to bring together techniques from classical dance to jazz dance, with a hint of various influences (acrobatics, contemporary dance, etc.). Modern jazz is characterized by the coordination of movements, the control of gravity and the isolation of body parts in accordance with an established basic technique.

Dance is the school of rigor, and through regular learning, it allows you to progress in your practice and acquire higher technical knowledge as the lessons progress.

Modern jazz is used a lot in cabarets, musicals or in music videos of popular singers where it is also more and more often mixed with hip-hop movements. Here you will find an overview of what we do and some projects we have worked on.
